THIN THE HERD demo
Good morning! Happy crust to you!
I love bands that have male/female vocals! Here's a Chicago gem from the city's north-side. I believe I picked this up in 2003, so it's coming up on a 10 year anniversary of it's birth. I saw Thin The Herd play in a tiny basement at the Albion House. People's heads were hitting the ceiling. It was a really good show. Jen has such a powerful & brutal voice. Check out her new band, Black September; they're more metal.
On this recording Nick plays drums, Pat plays bass, Myke plays guitar, Chris plays guitar (& sings), and Jen plays the vocals. Oh!

QUESTION 7 song tape
What do you do when yr neighbors play crappy dance music til 3:30 AM, inevitably waking you up? Play some brutal punk rock music at a HIGH volume! life means nothing! it doesn't mean a thing! life is cruel. uncaring, torture, suffering. nothing changes! people have mostly been the same from the dawn of life. the start of man. i want nothing of an orchestrated plan. i only wish to be what i am! it's hard enough to fins the sane and the kind in this infernal hell. all i wish is to have a good time untill i inevitably die. so i don't care if things were all to crash or if there'll be a terrorist attack. it might not be so bad if we all died. you can fuck any scene! i don't care about anything that doesn't help to find a way to exist with pride in how we spend our limited time alive. why not aim to live each day as if you'd die tomorrow? get past your strife. find strength in sorrow.
